Kaoru Watanabe Taiko Center
Kaoru Watanabe is a world-class taiko (Japanese drumming) player and accomplished jazz musician. On assignment for the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, I spent a morning in his studio, where he rehearsed with his students for an upcoming recording.
